Thank you to my family, friends, volunteers and supporters who were the true motivation and inspiration for my campaign. It was an honor to run for State Representative for House District 12.
We ran a great campaign. We pushed the debate with strong stances on health care, gun safety, oil and gas development, reproductive rights, and paid family leave. We made over 700 phone calls, sent over 200 individual text messages, knocked on more than 100 doors, sent over 350 pieces of mail including individual notes to each HD12 delegate, held coffees, and talked with hundreds of people all across our community.
I am proud that our campaign received the second most votes of the four candidates at the county assembly. While I am disappointed we did not make the ballot this time, I am confident that there will be opportunities to serve this community in the future.
